We probably all tend to go about our lives with no thoughts to many things.
For instance, in the average modern city, the food supply stored within that same city is about enough for two days only.
We never get to worry about this, or question it, because the supply chain is reliable enough to keep the warehouses topped up regularly.
So, we have no need to change the system.
Our power supplies are the same. They have worked for years, so no need is seen to change them.
We are complacent.
We assume that those who run the systems have commonsense.
But they do not. They are complacent too.
The oil will run out.
Then we will all have to find other ways to do things.
Corporations will no longer be able to focus on throwing money at problems, so the higher-ups will no longer be able to cover up their own stupidity, introvertedness, incompetence, and lack of vision.
The same individuals will no longer be merely able to spend time giving presentations on how to get those below them to work harder.
The world is about to slow down.
The American Dream Model as a way of doing things is about to fail.
Right now, if I was to design a wind generator that would sell for $50, and produce a kilowatt a day, it would not sell. I would not even be able to get any normal corporation to look at the idea.
Those who have the power to innovate don't.
Those who have the true vision cannot innovate as they cannot get past the idiots at the top of corporations.
