Have you ever noticed how we tend to wait for stuff to 'get better'?
Like, 'once the house is paid off things will be better', or 'once the car is paid off things will be better.'
Well, my life has been long, and things have got paid off from time to time, and, guess what, things never got better.
So, the missus is off working at her new business. My son Arvin is off school and addicted to the computer games he plays.
I am refreshing PayPerPost on a regular basis, but too many others are taking the opportunities.
It is pouring down with rain today.
Time for action.
I figure I can actually get away for a trip camping with Arvin, and get back before the missus even knows we are gone.
I might just set off for a place called Cape Breton Island (it is an island no more, as there is a causeway to it) and stay overnight somewhere.
Takes about 3 or 4 hours to get there.
So, let's see, set off at 9 am.
Be there by midday.
Have an afternoon on the beach.
Camp
Have a breakfast somewhere.
Break camp.
And set back off about 2 pm after cruising around a bit.
Sounds good to me.
