Does Internet Commerce Depend Upon Page Rank Inappropriately?

Does Internet Commerce Depend On Page Rank Inappropriately?
Those of you who read this blog regularly know that my main blog has no page rank, and, despite lots of other bloggers linking to it, shows up as having not a single link in when checked. This in turn will presumably prevent it from ever getting Page Rank from Google.

Google System Failure
My first thought is that I have been screwed over by Google having a defective system, and, I have to admit, I still think that is the case. But, the question is, will it matter?

My Site Traffic Grows Daily
I have a building traffic situation, I was getting around 100 visitors a day maximum a few weeks ago, now I seem to be running at around 170 I think it is, sometimes going up as high as 240 plus, and occasionally dropping into the 90's.  So, my traffic is increasing. Will that make my PR suddenly appear? I suspect not, as the PR includes having to have links from other websites coming in, which I have not, according to Google, who are missing finding the 100 + links to my blog that actually exist.

A Benchmark?
I look at this as an opportunity. We will now see what happens to PR with a site that has no links in, according to Google.

Advertisers Can Do Better Than Depend On Google?
Advertisers are probably being misled by relying on Page Rank to rate the value of a particular website. My thinking here is that if Google have screwed things up rating my inbound links, then it is statistically likely that other websites are experiencing the same Google profiling.
Maybe I use the wrong aftershave.

BTW......
I just did a direct submission to an advertiser to have my blog considered for paid entries. I have had one of two regular opportunity suppliers give me some paid posts, but they are few and far between.

Advertising Kills Page Rank
I would like to pose another question :
If a blog gets more Page Rank by having no advertising, and gets zero Page Rank by having lots of advertising, then how much is to much?

Income Strategy To Defend Page Rank Attack
Strategy can be to either feed the advertising into the blog in very diluted amounts, hoping that Google will not pick up on it and penalise the Page Rank, or , as soon as the Page Rank is obtained, cram the page with as many ads as possible, knowing that it will be decreased to zero next time Google rates the page. The economies of each method would depend on the revenue per ad, and the average income over a long term time frame.

Can There Be An Advertising SuperBlog Format?
Finally, a question to pose might be:
How would I design and maintain a blog if I was only interested in income from it?

I will be interested to see if anyone has any comments, or even so much to say that they have to do a post on their own blog to respond to this one! Interesting subject, anyway.

Google is NOT against receiving payments for advertisements or posting reviews with LINKS/URLs. BUT, Google says, that you should post URLs without passing page rank. It is a fact that many sites pay you not for the sake of advertisements, but for placing their links. So google does not want you to raise the PR of others unnaturally. That is use a "nofollow" attribute with the URLs. This will solve your problem.

Hi, Krishna, thanks for the info. I have had a quick look at some of the links you posted here, and it all looks very good, but seems to be a lot of work that in my case, might take all the fun out of blogging. However, having siad that, I agree that you have commented based on what I was asking, the main question to me being my one about the 'superblog' format. It would be interesting perhaps, if you created a list on your own blog of a kind of step-by-step guidelines based on what you seem to already know that is right off-the-top-of-your-head as we say, that is, you have it in your brain, and need no researching to find it. I will be looking deeper into what you suggest is needed, and signing up for this and that, and will get back to you on it with a comment on your blogsite. I will be starting with the first link/listing you made about Google webmaster tools. Appreciate the info, thanks.

Ok, I will post something on the lines suggested by you, quoting you, with a link back to this page. My blog contains a lot of useful info. I started it, only after seeing the problems of others. But I find that people are NOT interested till they are affected. That is why I started posting other things. Anyway, let us see how it works.
Any way I am happy to note that you appreciate some of the important points.
